Course overview

Operational risk is the most pervasive and least well-understood risk class in most Nigerian institutions. This three-day intensive walks through the full operational-risk lifecycle — from incident capture and root-cause analysis to control design and key risk indicator (KRI) reporting — drawing on real Nigerian-bank case studies throughout.

Delivered by senior risk practitioners who have built and chaired operational-risk functions at Tier-1 banks.

What's covered

Day 1 lays the conceptual foundation. Day 2 turns to applied techniques. Day 3 is hands-on workshop using a CRMI-developed operational-risk case file from a Nigerian Tier-2 bank.
