How the exam runs.

  • Computer-Based Test
    30 multi-choice questions per module, completed in one hour. Auto-saved as you answer.
  • Twice-yearly diets
    April and October each year. Registration opens roughly six weeks before each diet.
  • English (British)
    All questions and reference materials use British English spelling and terminology.
  • Sit anywhere
    Online-proctored from any state in Nigeria with a stable internet connection and a webcam.
Eligibility & pacing

Minimum qualification

Undergraduate degree or recognised equivalent. Candidates without a degree should reach out to the secretariat for guidance.

Module pacing in Stage I

Pass at least three of the five Stage I modules before registering for Stage II. Outstanding modules can be carried into a subsequent diet.

Stage time-limits

Four-year window between stages — Stage II within 4 years of Stage I; Stage III within 4 years of Stage II.

Work-experience submission

Submit your 2-year experience documentation within 5 years of passing all stages. Beyond that, stages must be re-registered.
