The process

From application to designation in four steps.

Council confers designations quarterly. From submission to certificate, expect about four to six weeks under normal conditions.

01
5–10 days

Application

Submit your application via the member portal — documents, employer letter, and the conferment fee. An officer acknowledges within 5–10 business days.

02
~7 days

Officer review

A Membership Officer verifies your credentials, examination history, and supporting documents. You may be contacted for clarification.

03
~14 days

Committee review

The joint Education & Membership Committees review every conferment dossier and forward eligible candidates to the Governing Council.

04
Quarterly

Council conferment

The Governing Council formally confers designations four times a year. Successful candidates receive their certificate at the next conferment ceremony.

A verifiable listing on CRMI's public register confirms your standing to employers and regulators.

Council voting rights

FCRMs are eligible to vote in General Meetings and stand for elected positions on the Governing Council.
